Shining moon, light on water, comfortable and salty evening breezes. Waves lap against the bank of the bay at the end of a hot sunny day. Big Love is part of the “by the Moonlight” series of works dedicated to exploring the light, textures, colors, and feel of the experiences of late summer evenings bathed in moonlight. This painting in particular is a study of the practice of radical affection.
